StockRepublic and Trove Bring Social Investing to Africa

StockRepublic’s Latest Customer Trove Brings Social Investing to Africa

We’re excited to announce the launch of a new API customer, Trove, in a whole new continent – Africa. Founded in 2018, Trove is a neobroker with 200K users that facilitates seamless investments in local Nigerian (as well as Chinese and American) financial markets through its app and web platforms.

Why did Trove choose StockRepublic’s social trading API to elevate its existing product?

In order to empower its users with knowledge from successful investors, increase engagement, and make investing fun, Trove chose to partner with StockRepublic to enhance its current product.

Thanks to StockRepublic’s API, the Nigerian company recently released Trove Social, a new feature that allows members to follow and connect with other investors, see their portfolios, and learn from their strategies. With Trove Social, users can now track market trends, engage with fellow investors in real-time, and evaluate their portfolio performance against broader benchmarks.

    Why is this significant?

These new enhancements will empower Trove’s community to make more informed investment decisions. Additionally, Trove Social’s launch is an important milestone for us at StockRepublic as it demonstrates solid product-market fit with our API product as well as traction in the global market. Our expansion to a new country and continent reaffirms our commitment to democratizing investing worldwide.

Seeing our API come to life in Trove’s applications is truly rewarding. The same impact of transparency and engagement as we are used to, but in a whole new context — another continent. We are hopeful these new features will allow their Nigerian users to engage at a whole new level. Well done, Trove!
